What is the average number of students
per class?
Usually, we have no more than 16 students in
each class. This way we ensure that students get a lot of attention from the instructors.

How much does it cost to study
massage therapy at EMTS?
The cost of the 610-hour program is $7500 (Chicago)
or $7200 (Las Vegas), which
includes a registration fee ($100), all textbooks and supplies ($300
value), liability insurance and CPR program fees.

Does the school accept Federal Financial Aid?
European Massage Therapy School is approved by
the US Department of Education to participate in Title IV Federal Student Aid programs. Federal
Pell Grant and Federal Student Loans are available to those who qualify.
The school is also approved by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs and Illinois
Depratment of Employment Security.

What are the other payment options?
You can choose to pay the entire amount upon registration
or you can choose a monthly payment plan (a plan fee applies). The school also
works with various private lenders to provide education loans to students and keep
the cost of attendance low.

How long does it take to complete a massage
therapy program?
It takes from 8 to 10 months, depending on
the schedule you choose.

What are the schedule options?
We offer daytime, evening and weekends classes. Call
the school to find out the most current schedule of classes.

What will I be learning at EMTS?
Our program is designed to give you all the necessary
knowlegde to be a successful massage therapist. Your program of study includes
Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Chair Massage, Reflexology and
Shiatsu. In addition, you will study Human Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology,
stretching techniques and much more. The school will prepare you for the National
Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) Exam that is the
basis for licensure in Illinois or Nevada.

Does the school help students find work after
they graduate?
The school provides lifelong employment assistance for
graduates. We maintain a list of businesses that have contacted the school and
are interested in employing graduates.
Massage therapists are employed in spas, health and athletic
clubs, chiropractic offices, medical centers, hospitals, cruise ships, airports. Many
massage therapists become self-employed.
